I had a book written on vellum, I think it was a devotional book I bought in Lalibella from a poor farmer. It had alot of hand written icons. It was beautiful, then I sold it on ebay for like 1000x what I paid for it. I also have an authentic picture of Haile Selassie I and it has my ex-girlfriends father in the picture as a child. I think he even wrote on the back.
Even if what I read it almost after a year, it is a very sad thing. There are many individuals who loot/theft our priceless treasures that our dear fathers left for us.
You may say I bought this for such amount of dollar but the point is they are priceless! Many have looted our books and the next time they come back & scramble to teach us our own like the protestant of these days.
